Job ad growth: State-by-State

Year on Year, 2019 has seen a decline in job ads across majority of Australian States and Territories.

For WA, the job market has remained steady.

This data is across all job classifications and industries (not just IT).

National Job Ad data

As per the national job ads data above, when we focus in on the IT jobs market by State we see similar trends across Australia.

A majority of States have seen a decline in jobs adverts with the exception of some small growth in SA and ACT.

An improved trend has been the growth in job ad views across all States and territories for IT roles (better candidate confidence to change employment).
