About the role:
We are seeking experienced Data Architects for upcoming opportunities across the IT sector. If you have a strong analytical mindset, enjoy designing scalable data solutions and bring a creative approach to solving complex data challenges, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement data architecture strategies aligned with business objectives and long-term scalability.
• Design and develop robust, secure and high-performance data models across relational and non-relational platforms.
• Architect and implement end-to-end data integration and ETL pipelines from multiple data sources.
• Support BI and analytics solutions through reporting frameworks and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar.
• Monitor, optimise and enhance data pipelines to ensure reliability, scalability and alignment with business requirements.
• Establish and enforce data governance, security and compliance standards.
• Mentor a small team and support their growth in data architecture skills and capabilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Data Architect or Data Engineering role.
• Strong experience with Microsoft data platforms, including Azure Data Factory, Purview, Fabric and Power BI.
• Solid experience with relational databases and query optimisation (e.g. SQL Server, Azure SQL)
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing ETL and data integration solutions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Nice to have:

• Experience with modern data architecture patterns (data lake, data warehouse).
• Experience in industries such as finance, healthcare, mining, government or higher education.
• Experience with additional BI tools such as Tableau, Looker or Qlik.
• Certifications including Azure Data Engineer or Azure Solutions Architect.
• Exposure to data science and machine learning platforms.
